Spring is in the air! The birds are singing, flowers are blooming, and we are just heading into the beginning of our final trimester of the year. Last week, families had an opportunity to meet with teachers to discuss questions or concerns. As always, we truly appreciate the support and involvement from parents and other family members in helping students be successful at school.

In May, teachers will be determining class placements for next year. We strive to create balanced classrooms, and teachers take into account the individual learning style, social/emotional needs and academic needs of each child. We are currently taking parent input into the process, though we are unable to honor specific teacher requests as this limits our ability to ensure classrooms remain balanced. You can provide input on your child’s individual needs through our survey that you can access at https://forms.gle/h8Qn9WjWkoL6Hxgs9 or on our district webpage at www.tonasket.wednet.edu. If you are unable to access the survey online, copies are also available for pickup/drop-off at the school office. We will be accepting online and paper forms through Friday, April 26th.

En general, el cambio hacia la victoria no llega rodando sobre las ruedas de la inevitabilidad, sino que las personas lo buscamos a través de diversas sendas con un continuo empeño por triunfar.

Grandparents Day is coming up soon – May 5th. If you don’t have a grandparent close by, don’t let that stop you from bringing a grand friend – someone special, to school with you. Watch for a schedule!
